The topic has been discussed many times in this forum. We have used some softwares to hide our secret files. But, I have just got a new way to hide folders WITHOUT ANY SOFTWARE, just with our fingers. * +

Rename a folder with .JAD extension. Then add a new folder with same name but with .JAR extension in the same place/ directory. Done! You have successfully hidden your folder. * +

E.g. : Think you need to hide the folder named BIRD. Rename it to BIRD.jad . Then add a new folder named BIRD.jar .Now see the BIRD.jad folder is vanished. * +

When you need to open the hidden folder. Just change the name of your added folder which contains .jar extension. Then your hidden folder will be visible. Follow the same way to vanish it again. * +

**Tips : Dont keep empty the new folder which contains .jar extensions. Neverthless your friends/family members can delete it. If it is deleted, the hidden folder will be visible.** * +
