Using socket means that the connection to operamini's servers is always open. Meaning that info is pushed faster, and pages load faster. If you use http, then operamini has to connect to the servers each time you load a page, resulting in much slower load times. So yeah, shri is right. Socket is the better choice if your provider supports it. * +
