I have a nokia7250i (and yes it maybe just a paper weight to some) when i try and down load things sometimes it says file format unknown what the hell is that and how do you fix it? *

You are in the wrong forum, go to series40 forum and try not to download mmf or wav, only mid, amr, jpeg, gif, jad and jar *
