hello guys, i hope u could help me with my probs. regarding wapsites and hosting. Here's the case: several weeks ago, i created a wapsite using wml. i used image links and i came to learn that .png format is much smaller in size compared 2 .bmp while experimenting on diff. image formats i could use 4 d site. i used Paint and saved my images(to be used as links) using .png format. * +

i tested the wml files with .png image links using a nokia 7210 sdk emulator, and found out that the image itself doesnt show up(ex. imagekey.png altmy key) the my key link instead shows up, no image. i tried .bmp but just the same. finally, i tried .gif images as my image links and it shows up. does it mean that i can only use .gifs as my image links? * +

oh, quotations are nt supported here.:( does geocities and tripod support this type of file 2 b used on a wapsite? if nt, what am i going 2 add on my .htaccess file? in hosting my site on tripod, what are the steps to do? do i have 2 create a index.wml directory and delete the index.html directory? one thing more, how can i upload my .htaccess file in my geocities wapsite, i tried but failed. * +
