You need to buy special hardware for flashing a nokia 3510i. It looks like a box. I saw it when got my phone reflashed. Oh there was written summat like 3510i SOFTWARE FLASHER on it. You need a special cable (service cable), data cable will not do. Like manjax said, the flashing at home will cost you more than flashing in nokia care centre. *

Deletes everything(including bugs which is why u do it if ur fones broken). U also get new software sometimes *
