It's a feeling. When you feel it, it's as real as the feeling of love and loss or happiness and anger. It's abstract. It's intangible. It's hard to describe in words.
Faith is what comes after this feeling of realization of God dissipates. People have different ways to describe this conscious experience; God, Allah, Krishna, Jesus.. I don't know, whatever.
