In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
This post is basically for my Muslim bro/sis. neither for debate nor to offend other communities.
Allah s.w.t. who created everything, has given a lifespan to everything.
As a Muslim, I believe that my life (span) is already defined.
Some times this calamity worries me,, and I think its natural.
Calamities have struck humanity in the past too, and nations have become history.
Some of them have been mentioned in the Holy Quran.
So what should we do..?
As a Muslim, for me, there is no place where I can hide from any calamity other than Allah's shelter.

The Holy Quraan says,
(21:87) And (remember) Dhunnun (the man of the fish, namely Yonus), when he walked away in anger and thought that We would never put him to trouble. Then, he called (Us) in depths of darkness saying, There is no god but You. Pure are You. Indeed I was among the wrongdoers.
(21:88) So We responded to him and rescued him from the distress. And this is how We rescue the believers. * +

So without making this post lengthy, what I want to say is to recite the part of the the verse 87, Laa_ilaha illa unta subhanaka inni kutu minazzalimeen.
because,
The Holy Quran says,
(6:44) So when they forgot that by which they had been reminded, We opened to them the doors of every [good] thing until, when they rejoiced in that which they were given, We seized them suddenly, and they were [then] in despair.
