The solution to the violence,hatred amongst Muslims,discrimination,existence of conflicting ideologies,etc. is from echoes of Quranic teachings to be not divided amongst yrselves.Also other added simple part of the solution is for all Muslims 2 discard their prejudice n arrogant attitudes n yes just be more tolerant 2wards 1 another on a collectively common platform of an organised Muslim community - united Ummah!

United Ummah? Seriously? History (Arab, Ottoman, Sub-continent) is in stark contradiction to your proposed solution. It is not practical;, not even worthy of scrutiny. Stop beating drums on the myths of United Muslim Ummah and Muslim identity and get realistic. * +

imho, the very divide is due2, 1. the loss of the very cause, 2. preference of 1self rather than the cause. The very cause was Islam/its preaching and spreading it even at the cost of 1's life. The ''Sahab kiraam'' were more concerned about it rather than their personal intrest, and as a matter of fact would give up their personal intrest for the very cause.

I disagree. The Sihaab were very much concerned about their personal and political interests. * +
