It has some form of importance in the Islamic belief system does it not?.Osiris lived for 28 years and was cut into 14 pieces which is representative of one full calander month,the lunar cycle 'n all that but what would it mean on February in a leap year?...does that simple little overlooked fact not kinda poke a hole in your belief system?
