Recently my mom discovered this church where she lives now and, joined it. She sent me to that church too and I like the way those ppl pray but I have a problem. I don't think I fit into the pentecostal dressing style. I dyed my hair recently, I like jewelry, I looks closed to those women ears and they don't even have studs or a sing that in their lobe has ever been a jewelry. They dont even weare simple jewelry, even if its not gold. Never weare pants, but, they weare make up and high heels. I saw a woman from england tho, she was in her 60s and i think she had short hair and and it was dyed too and, also wore pants. * +

I don't know how pentecostals are in other places but in my town they look rigid and conservative. I felt good going to their their mass a few times, untill one of their preachers holded a preach abt how we should use our gifts and what we should do and behave and he fixed me with the eyes quite much. I also feel that they expect from me to baptise soon, but that is my last worry now, with all the problems that i had, i need to rebuilt my soul rather than adopting a new set of rules. Besides, i dont think i want to become one of them. * +

I know but my mom expects me so much to go there every week, as if the preacher is Jesus himself. Its a big tragedy if I don't go. Its a big problem for me. * +

tell her, in a nice way... as far as somethin as personal as religion goes, u just can't, imo, cater to anyone elses preferences. * +

A church is a place anyone can choose after theyre own heart. A church should be were we praise the Lord. Going to the church for the ppl and looking at how others look is way off in my opinion. The pentecostal i chose has no dress code we wear what we want casual stuff ppl wear elsewere. * +

They never told me what to weare but I feel bad when I look at them and they look like prudes. None weares even a bracelet. Not even one has their hair dyed. I like to look after myself. I don't break the decency codes, but I can't give up on dyeing my hair or my jewelry, that is not ostentative in any way. That preacher looked down to my hands from the anvon to the last sit where I was sitting. I felt like a b***h among them. * +

Some unusual pentecostal church it is then (chin) Women in our church wear dresses and all shorts of jewelry etc. Usually the most humble man gets to be the pastor. As it is written in
