It does say what it says and not contradicting the concept of hell at all. It is only ppl who want it to contradict for theyre comfort that say it contradicts. Making an insurance for themselves on there not being a hell at the end is the biggest risk ppl can make in life.

Death. Seperation from God and all that is salvation, everlasting torment for the soul. Some part propably dies body etc but the soul gets somesort of everlasting punishment. The opposite is a new body and everlasting life on the new sinless clean earth. * +
