I can understand why ummati says that, after all, he was elected for an historic third term. Even after going to war. So whilst he was elected to represent the UK, doesn't mean he is representative. * +

Blair fked up so badly, he has laid down a perfect example of what happens when the prime minister uses his prerogative powers in such a manner. Yes, the prime minister, himself, could declare war on another country without enquiring anyone. David Cameron on the other hand is a smart guy, when asked by the states to join in on the invasion of Syria, he knew he couldn't directly say no, instead he held out a referendum to the British population, and most were openly opposed to any kind of aggression against Syria, allowing him to say no the USA. * +
