Here is my business plan to make a gazilion dollars. First things first. What shall I sell. I am going to open a car dealership and sell BMWs. Now, all I have to do is get 20 BMWs to start with. (okay encountered first problem) maybe BMWs are out, let me start small, like selling peanuts by the side of the road. Brilliant, I will now get stock, and sell peanuts by the side of the road. Going to work to sell peanuts. WHAT the. What are 30 people doing selling peanuts by the side of the road, that's my spot. Okay, now all I have to do is find a place where no one is selling peanuts, maybe the next town. All I have to do is get transportation to get to the next town in order to sell my peanuts. Too bad I don't have a car, and I can't really use a taxi to carry my stock of peanuts. * +

There's no denying Zimbabwe handled the redistribution of land appallingly. But that doesn't invalidate the idea that the land SHOULD'VE been redistributed. Yeah, Zimbabwe was the food bowel of Africa-whilst Africans continued to live in poverty and continued in their status as the servant class.

The world donates huge sums of money, food and technical expertise to Africa and can not be held responsible for the corruption endemic in every single African country. Nor is the world responsible for overpopulation in land that simply cant feed them. Zimbabwe was helping to feed Africa and now cant feed itself. Sometimes ideology has to give way to reality. Reality is political corruption is all of Africas real enemy, not what colour the farmer is. * +

Also with land redistribution who decides who gets what land and how do they come to this decision? And are people who have lived on that land for generations not native to that land? Land gets conquered all the time, it wasnt just nasty ol whitey that done it. Does all that land get redistributed too? To who? * +
