Mandukya Upanishad is a Atharvavedic Upanishad. Mandukya literaly means Frog, It's name derives after the name of seer Mandukya. The story of God Varuna taking the form of frog to reveal the importance of Omkara which is presented as the absolute name and symbol of Absolute Brahman. Waking state (Jagrat)This is the normal condition of a Natural man. self in this state named as experiencer of gross things ie Vaishvanaara. Self is bound by fetters of sense, perception and desire. In this state consciousness relates to things external and is possessed by seven limbs and nineteen mouths.
