Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal;but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Yes, Jesus was not poor, but a minimalist. We need to follow in His ways and clear out the unnecessary clutter in our lives. Prosperity would soon follow as we would want what we already have and be content. * +

Becoming a minimalist is in no ways a downgrade of life but an improvement to the quality of your life. We have no reason to accommodate junk. Instead of quantity you would focus on quality. * +

Its time people woke up to the truth, the message of stuff = happiness, which we are sold to by the relentless Western modern media, is all just a delusion and what were actually being sold is the polar opposite, more stuff = unhappiness, stressed out lives, debt and longer working hours. *
