Protestants ? Catholics ? In the small county of ayrshire on the west coast of scotland where most children are segregated by the time they go to school and sectarianism is a way of life for some, the Ayrshire Mosque in Kilmarnock which was only founded.. * +

4 years ago has already suffered a major split with a breakaway group praying in local community centres. Of the founding group, the breakaway spokesman said, we respect them, we just cant pray alongside them. * +

When i was at school, protestants would assemble in the hall for morning prayers n hymms other religions wld gather in different classrooms as only a small amount of them but times have changed so i think most schools dont bother with religious studies as there are too many different ones. Ayrshire obviously hasnt moved with the times but there again it is quite remote up there * +

We still have seperate schools, sadly funded by the state. I only hope this split at the mosque isn't sectarian, we have enough of that already * +
