I actually like the 10 commandments. I think if everyone followed them honestly the world would be a much nicer place. Shame most people are selfish hypocrites. * +

dont murder steal and lie are the only useful commandments but virtually every society/religion has them as a tennent as well. * +

These commandments are useless because we really don't need them to tell us to not murder or steal. Morality comes from empathy which is an inherent quality in most human beings. This explains why that whole 'Don't murder' 'Don't steal' thing unsurprisingly, exists in most cultures. The rest of the commandments however are mostly useless and serve no moral or legal purpose whatsoever. * +
