Remember the story a few years ago about a palestinian man whose young son was murdered by an israeli sniper.Instead of seeking revenge he allowed his sons body parts to be used to help both palestinian and Israeli children * +

Hmm no I don't see where you're going with this as in repeat offenders

Well I don't see forgiveness as somethin that the other must deserve, it doesn't mean condonin or being ok with them or life. It is abt me lettin go of what if's, if only's, it is lettin go of anger, hate.. It is abt being healthier in myself, not abt absolution for the other party. It also doesn't mean embracin them nd breakin bread with them. * +

Would you be able to forgive/not be angry to someone who killed your child?Am reading a book about jimmy mizens atm a 16yr old londoner murdered a few years ago.his parents however have staunchly rejected revenge and violence

digits wrote about this but there are hundreds of people in prison who hav murdered someones child, im sure some parents will forgive but others will not and want justice. If hanging was brought back i wonder if the forgivers would still forgive and let them go free rather then be hang thinking * +
