Should religion be completely eradicated from government or should it run side by side? I'm a formal Muslim from Pakistan, I have simply realized that all these religions especially Islam are mere tools developed to manipulate and control us. I have never read one simple thing in the Qur'an that could help me with my real life, absolutely nothing, and nothing also from the Bible, all bullocks, and those who say they do are people looking at things from nothing.. * +

for me It's more like people who smoke cigarettes and believe that it's curing their stress, when it doesn't really help IMO, and it's only a psychological phenomena that make people think it's helping them, when it's doing absolutely nothing. I don't know if God exists or not, but what I do know is He can't be that illogical and He is indeed capable of knowing us inside/out, how can he burn me for eternity when he knows what my real intentions are? * +

Anyway aside this topic, I have been convinced that the only way Pakistan could prosper is if religion is completely eradicated from the government, the state should be 110 percent secular, no religion given more favor over the other. Minorities should be treated equally as Majority and religion should have no place in running the country.. I think our country could only start to prosper if it started following the footsteps of Turkey, with over 90 percent Muslim population * +

It's very developed compared to us... I think religion is the main cause especially Islam. Removing it from government and arresting any hate inciting Mullah/protecting the minorities/removal of blasphemy law should be our number one priority followed by taking responsibilities for own actions and working on education. So do you agree with me? * +

Many of the youth are opening their eyes, at least some of them are reaching towards progressive Islam as envisioned by our founder until they start removing it from the government bit by bit, that's a good start, but yeah, it's a long way to go. * +
