I've been researching about god and I came across the work of sitchin who in a nutshell claim that human evolution was triggered by aliens.so im wondering do atheists lack the belief in god because of the way he is potrayed in religious text or is it because they feel that thier is A bigger picture? * +

my requirements for a god are too high for it to be met by any entity. i don't rule out aliens having an influence in our evolution but that's just an idea, i don't necessarily believe in it. * +

Yea na.I believed and dindnt believe vice versa till I was about 15 and read the 9 satanic statements. Those 9 made a hell of a lot more sense than gods 10 thou shall nots. Atheism makes more sense than a whiny b***h that the bible makes him out to be. So I toyed with the idea about a deistic god. Till I started learning. Now there is no room for a god. * +

I can say I was an atheist by about 7-8 yrs old though. That is about the time I had questions that couldnt be answered. Fall of man an noahs ark to pe precise. * +
