Up to them though, isn't it. The only consensus atheists can really agree upon is the disbelief in a god, everything else is up in the air. I know that's a bitter pill to swallow, as it means a dilution of the ranks in terms of being antithetical to the religious and or advocates of the metaphysical. Were I an atheist, I'd be quite sulky, tending to ignore those that lack the comprehension of advanced mathematical physics as a rule of thumb. * +

People can label themselves how they choose. Personally I can't understand how an atheist could draw any distinction between god, a leprechaun or a fairy. Disbelieving one thing but substituting that with any other type of blind belief seems an odd way of being an atheist to me. * +
