On the news today i saw a report about a guy that was selling some completely useless bit of kit he claimed detected bombs. Bought cheap and sold for thousands and completely useless yet he manage 2 get a contract in iraq! People had been killed as a result. Question is how did something like that even happen? * +

who checks the equipment! there are yanks, brits, iraqi other other forces out there plus all sorts of other experts in goverment and un that could check it why wasnt it done? it just seems so stupid 2 me. whoever signed the deal is as guilty as the guy that sold it. * +

as an addition 2 this story was the story of 1 iraqi womans story linked 2 these detectors. nearby checkpoints had been using the new equipment and a bomber got through. when he detonated his bomb a pregnant iraqi woman was caught in the blast. she lost her child bcuz of this attack . * +

that isnt really that weird,it's distasteful but not unusual for a trauma like that to wreck a relationship *
