Definitely, Assad clearly has shown he would stop at nothing to undermine his people, but I do not have faith in the rebels either. What's the point of over-throwing one oppressive government just to replace it with another? * +

Why don't Assad just negotiate amnesty for he and his family to pack their bags full of money and live in exile in Russia or something, that way everyone is happy and end this bloodshed , come on he has seen what happened to saddam Mubarak and gaddahfi, with the rebels backed by the west if they want to get him it's only a matter of time * +
