This too. Im a proud union member but as long as I do my job and they dont cause unnecessary grief all is good.If the owners were not getting rich Id have no job. Perspective 1.3billion a year turn over, 20 million a year profit (between 5 plants). We as workers are not asking for our 2.5 percent increase this year to keep up with inflation. Work for next year overrides an extra 20 buck a week. There is give and take. if they pi*s us off we will walk off and we are covered * +

Also when a bank (or anyone for that matter) loans you money they lose the right of use of that money for a period of time. They could have used it in the production of more money but instead lent it to you. This is the opportunity cost they incurred in lending you the money for which they should be duly compensated. But as you say shop around and make informed financial decisions and you may find you could end up with a free loan depending on the re-investing choices you make. * +
