I just can't understand why that priest EZRA condemned mix marriages in the Old Testamen?? Nehemiahis kinda same kind too: To me they r just Ceremonial priests!!! Now, I have started reading Ecclesiastic. It has a gud begnning, let's see where it's subject goes:) Amen-- *

You will see that the Jews didn't mix anything . They didn't even used Red Copper in the Temple because it is not a pure metal . When they made something out of Gold for the temple , they used pure gold . They didn't believe in mixing . Everything must have been pure . *

Not exactly.. the mixed marriage wasn't the problem, the abominations they were performing was. After getting married to the foreign wives they started doing the rituals and things against the commandments of God. As usual human nature tends towards over correction. So they got divorced... which really isn't what God wanted. *
