A reply in another post reminded me of this.. It brought back a memory nd a chuckle... This happened when my middle Niece was abt 3 yrs old.. Her one Aunt had just died in the early hours of the mornin, I already knew abt it but she came to me to break the news in all her wisdom... * +

she came down the passage on her scooter, did a donut, looked at me with huge chocolate brown eye nd a serious look on my face... U kno my Auntie died today. yes i replied, i am sorry to hear that. are u ok? she looked thru me, as a frown betw those heavenly sweet eyes... U kno last night she didn't feel well, then she had a stroke at abt 8 o clock.. * +

they took her to hospital, around 10 o clock she had another stroke.. she looked at me to see my reaction, i held her nd said how sad that was... i was proud of how my Sis explained it to her nd how she remembered so clearly. at her sensitivity... Then just after 12 she had another one.... she then died, her eyes serious nd big, her face like that of an adult... she sighed, got up, went back to her scooter... * +
