I have quit a few times but always end up going back. I'm nearly 50 now and have set a date to stop when I will try again. if your drinking sodas the aspartame and other sweetners are addictive and can affect your health badly * +

Iv quitted 5 years ago and i must say, i never once had any cravings whatso ever. In fact, i even tried to light up the day after i quitted, but that was a terrible experience. It really felt like i was trying to smoke for the first time! Since then, i never went back to ciggies again. No thanks. * +

I think the patches help,i sumtimes use them for a day or so,when it's goin to be difficult to get a smoke. If im busy n im wearing a patch i dont think about smoking * +

patches do work and theres a new one on the market that helps cut down your smoking until you decide you dont want another ciggy. Drink plenty of water not frizzy drinks * +

I smoked a pack of 20 a day and quit the day my son was born. All i can say is that you really need to WANT to quit, set a date and then quit, not smoke less n s**t,quit. If your a drinker quit alcohol for a month till you ditched the smokes.Avoid smokers and dont keep hidden stashes * +
