Is Islam a genuine religion or is it a political ideology-say like communism or capitalism-? Islam promotes itself as a religion but personally i see that as a smokescreen and it is more an ideology. What do you think? * +

some ppl see the religion in islam not the policy. it's sad that religion is used to manipulate ppl and gain money but it happens alot. * +

its the same for many religions, especially ancient ones because often the king was also made a god, making it a religious state in effect.. They often go hand in hand so i dont see why islam should be singled out.. * +

that's right Jlh. common ppl seek religion to rich God but the ppl from the head of the country use it to gain money. the ancient priests as the modern churches ask for taxes. Sure they r apart from the world and claim to live of donations but is it always like this? We see how some rabbies, priests or whatever imply in politics. * +

personally I see islam as a cult... with a lot(not all) of dangerous ppl bein brainwashed with a lot of dangerous ideas * +
