In a poorer suburb in a nearby city there is a house that turns into a wonderland each year, a Santa chair outside, decorative reindeer, everythin, the whole house nd garden alight with fairy lights, a huge tree in the garden made up, a sleigh, just a real fairy tale. Every year on Christmas eve the road gets blocked off nd u need to walk thru to get to it, no cars allowed. On this night... * +

the fire brigade comes nd shoots foam spray all over, makin the house, street nd everythin look like snow, and Santa is there, all dressed up nd kids sit on his lap, get gifts, sweet packets etc, all donations from ppl for the kids who can't really afford the luxury of gifts at Christmas. to see their little faces, all the little faces seein this house, Santa, the 'snow', is priceless. * +

Have you seen the festive scene each year at Port Alfred? 
It's magical.. The mansions on the marina islands are magnificent at night. Sailing with a yacht through the Kowie River is a must on anyone's bucket list! * +
