Well, DNA tests show that traces of pork, beaf, chicken etc. are found in mutton sausages, even those marked halaal. So what now? * +

See no evil hear no evil
people who are concerned about halal or trace of nuts allergy etc shouldn't eat out shouldn't but processed food , actually they should grow their own veges and slaughter their own animals, you can't trust anyone but your self * +

DNA tests are a recent practise and only now they do it on sausages, so all these years people were eating pork and beaf. Even butchers who got their meat from trusted halaal sources found pork in their sausages. * +

So bottom line they shouldn't be testing it, out of sight out of mind, there is also salmonella and E. coli in it too, eat it or drop it * +

Consumer watch who are doing an investigation. Its started after they found a capetown meat packaging company who were labeling pork as halal. * +

I think directly labeling pork as halal is wrong but finding minute traces of it shouldn't be a big deal when the manufacturer did everything to avoid it * +
