Exactly , that was their right to do so . If you know what was agreed on Years ago , you will see that was part of the agreement . It was stated that the Palestine will never bypass Israel to do directly to the UN , and the UN agreed never to except a bid from Palestine if they have bypassed Israel. That would lead to the cancelling of everything, and it did. Israel only warned the world of their rights.

It was canceled by Palestine and the UN . They broke 2 major rules and accordingly to the agreement , that made the treaties void. Time to start from scratch . But Palestine already made it clear that they don't want peace and they want the destruction of Israel . *
