The problem with this is that it doesn't take into account supposedly scientifically inclined non religious people who believe conspiracy theories. It also doesn't take into account religious believers who don't believe in conspiracy theories. Their belief in their religion is a matter of faith, which I don't see connected in the same way as believing in conspiracy theories. * +

I understand they are not 2 concepts joined at the hip but there is no denying they share many psychological traits and tho i have no directly quotable figures that i would trust i'd hazard a fair guess that the majority slot sweetly into the 'believe somewhat in both' category, * +

I'm sure many do, I'm just saying I don't think its automatic, just like its not automatic for atheists not to believe in conspiracy theories because obviously many do. *
