As for believing, i do have an interest in the scriptures and what they have to say, i think its important to make observations to some degree as a number of serious matters in our world are directly a result of such things.. * +

Push? Who would be pushing for the third temple? Jews expect the messiah to rebuild the temple. Its one of their criteria for identifying who messiah is. * +

If such a leader did arise and did that I'm sure the red flag will go up for most Christians; there's a reference in the NT that the antichrist would sit in the temple, showing himself to be God; many Christians interpret it as the false messiah building and being enthroned in the temple. * +

interesting situations can be found when we simply hold all scriptures to be relevent, some radical jews say islam is false, yet somehow use quranic scripture to prove jerusalem belongs to jews, even going as far to justify liniage thru isaac and ishmael, by default the idea that islam is false is contradicted.. *
