this seems to be speaking of two seperate individuals but if you read john 1:1-14 you will realize it is not speaking of two individuals. but in fact speaking of GOD and HIS WORD. so basically JESUS is saying they have both seen and hated both GOD and HIS WORD. lets also add this verse says seen. who has seen GOD? those who have seen JESUS * +
