http://is.gd/aATwKU here is an interesting read, which actually states that you can prove a negative statement, but again its a question of language. A negative is not actually being proven. * +

And what if the domain is lessened, let's just say a room. * +

I mean when someone says a negative can't be proven, by its nature of being negative, if it were proved true then it wouldn't be true. * +

Yes, yes we are. We are absolute soulless monsters who can care less about life or other peoples feelings * +

Sorry, but you're wrong. I don't see where this idea stems from, it's quite obvious that some negatives can't be proven, but many can. It's a common atheist stance when it comes to the existence of a god, but it's erroneous.

So how do you prove a god dosnt exist? * +

It would depend on the nature of said god. I'll take most people's idea of God, you can't prove God doesn't exist or exists but the absence of evidence isn't evidence of absence. That's why induction isn't a perfect system, but it's pretty good. Every single nook and cranny in the universe could be searched, it wouldn't matter, God exists outside of the universe. To actually disprove God would require one to become omnipotent themselves, but by then... dontknow *
