look at the region before islam spread, u will see that people had their own way of life worshipping fire an stars, they didnt want god in their lives an rejected mohamed, like jews an romans rejected jesus gospel an egyptians and hebrews rejected the prophets from moses day.. people have their material life, their own customs that are often what sets them apart with identity, if islam doesnt fit then they make it fit or try to destroy it.. * +

Put religion aside and look at the humanitarian conditions of these peoples lives, pressures from rampant disease, poverty, war, social structure, lack of eduction and ancient customs that often are the only consistent method of getting thru it all as a community.. human nature can be cruel an when people are suffering as a whole, the worst can happen.. * +
