why are so many children being neglected by their parents , why are so many parents so quick to pick drink / drugs / gambling etc over their kids , why does society seem to accept this so easily and even make excuses for it? * +

Becuz it's just as easy for parents to use things as an emotional crutch,i spose.I chose sum of those things over even ever having kids..I wud have stopped if i'd had them tho * +

U need a licence to own a tv or a dog yet any p1ssed up crack head can spit out a sprog every year or 2 and leav the state to raise them... the country is a mess and unemployment and our benefits culture has a big part to play in this generation having no ambition or prospects... * +

read that in SA 800 kids were taken away from there parents in only 5 months.... * +
