it was war, a quite huge civil war that occurred in our country. You see Mr Mujeeb Ur Rehman and his party had already convinced all the bengalis that they wanted a separate nation, they were openly rebelling and the west pakistanis living there in the East had also suffered A lot by the bengalis, many were r*ped. Sure some of the Army did it too, but it definitely was against what they were ordered to do over there. And there were many army officials there that actually also helped the bengalis * +

supplying them with food that they were ordered not to take by Mr. Mujeeb's party and anyone taken would be arrested or even executed. It wasn't really a genocide, the Army wasn't sent to kill over there, but to keep control. After all I doubt any Government would want their country being divided. * +
