I wouldn't call that a battle of different sects though. I mean it was just a battle between Muslims of completely same beliefs regarding Islam, difference is Ayesha's side wanted to find the killers of Uthman instantly after Ali became Caliphate whilst Ali wanted things to calm down first. *
