acceptance in my opinion would be when you have come to terms with the current situation whilst tolerance would be when you might not really like that situation but you can deal with it and live on. * +

As soon as you say you tolerate or accept something , they both mean the same , in the case of gays i see nothin to tolerate or accept . Nothin to do with me what Consenting Adults choose to do with their emotions and or delicates * +

It does effect our life whether we are coming to terms with a situation or dealing with it whether we like it or not, we are somehow changing our state of mind... and it could effect us either negatively or positively. * +
