Though all 3 of my siblings still have their tonsils in at moment. Sometimes they book out of school as result of a tonsil infection. I don't get as severe throat infections as them. * +

I for one would like to know exactly what they're teaching my kids in school..considering i'm payin for it. BTW of what use are tonsils anyway? Are they as useless as appendix? * +

tonsils use as filters, glands will show signs when theres bacteria on sight, hence ud save ur lungs frm further infection if u got the sign n treat them fast. persons wthout tonsils would not know theres infection till its later. thats the use of tonsils. * +

I get tonsilitis about once a year or so, its uncomfortable and gives ya a*se breath but it gets me the week off work cos I work with raw food product. Fair trade. * +
