I read today in the independent newspaper that an israeli security company G4S is operating security for the olympics this year, controversy over their work in the west bank has raised intrest since they operate in areas well known for mass arrests of palestinian children and segragation.. israeli security companys were also operating in the uk and usa during both 911 and 7/7 terror attacks, which leads me to question if G4S is a smart idea.. * +

I worked for them for a month after my I left my ex wife 11 years ago. I was doing CP work. Obviously G4S isnt the name they are best known as and were infamous for a while for ineptitude until as they had a very prolific well known government contract which they blundered very publicly. Hence the rebranding as subtle as it is. * +

My apologies, G4S is not israeli by origin but has bought into a few israel firms and does operate to some extent in prisons and west bank settlements, the group is made up of many security companies around the world, some of which suffer criticism from treatment of employees, deaths of detainees and slacking off duty at american nuclear power plants.. * +
