To all conventional religious people. Do you think all humans that lived prior to the advent of YOUR religion, will go to hell? this seems absurd to me. how do you explain this apparent anomaly? as you believe that whoever follows YOUR religion is entitled to Paradise. The very concept of paradise seems absurd to me, mind you. Please do NOT quote scriptures. This is a generalized question and I am seeking generalized/common sense; intellectual responses. * +

What I don't understand is, why do they keep bragging about the SUPERIORITY and TRUTHFULNESS of their religion(s)? certainly, religions existed prior to the advent of any abrahamic religions; for instance, the ancient greek, or mesopotamian religions. * +

Islam claims to exist since the start of mankind for etc and prophets were sent to preach the message of oneness of Allah, there you have it... so basically they believe people will still be judged anyways.

that is no argument. it doesn't answer ANYTHING. It's just an argument designed to control the minds of people; maintaining a flock of followers. * +

@ pw: no,there is no fiery hell since the bible doesn't teach it. Mistranslations of words that mean different things, and put under 'hell'. The doctrine is from pagan beliefs which were absorbed over time,by churches that had deviated from original teachings. Biblically, there is to be a physical resurrection for many,so while some are destroyed out of existence, there is no literal burning in hell. Fire symbolises either destruction, anger, zeal,or cleansing. That's my belief in biblical future * +

Plus there's to be a paradise on earth and many bible scriptures show that. Jesus said the meek would inherit the earth,so it isn't just about going to heaven. * +
