Egypt's ex-president Hosni Mubarak has been handed a life sentence for complicity in the killings of protesters in last year's uprising. Mubarak, the first Arab leader to be tried by his own people since the wave of uprising began in Tunisia in late 2010, was found guilty for his role in the killing of some 900 protesters during the 18-day revolt that overthrew him on February 11, 2011. * +

Though the life sentence is absolute nothing compare to 900 deaths but i believe this would serve as a strong message to others, don't do the crime if you can't serve the time. The evil that men do MUST leave with them. It's a principle! * +

Mubarak is weeping buckets - he doesn't want to go to the Tora Prison and is refusing to get out of helicopter ... proving what we suspected for a long time. he is a man without honour, guts or courage. Where's his friend Tony Blair now? * +
