Do not look directly at the sun. Not even with sunglasses You need a specialist filter or at the very least a welding mask! Best off watching the live webcasts. * +

lol, I was just about to refer ppl to you post in general. I have eclipse glasses I bought for 1999. gonna be late her in the UK though so will probably have to watch the live webcasts * +

Oh I remember 1999, I just used the foil inside a 5 roses tea box. We had to make our own glasses with cardboard and that. *
