Have you observed that out of the rich variety of religions and cultural concepts of God, in our day the top 3 middle Eastern religions call the shots? How did this happen? Do you think its something in their thinking/cultural patterns that has allured the majority of the world? * +

How did many local religions and cultural concepts about deity/ies fade off at the advance of the middle Eastern Abrahamic faiths? Although I wouldnt say Judaism has dominated much, except vicariously through Christianity and Islam, since its the parent faith. I'm intrigued by this phenomenon, this global conquest. How did it happen? * +

It was done through whichever Word dominated others. firstly passed down via scribes, then later via Gutenberg's printed Word. these Words dominated the local words and customs. Churches and such constructions replaced whatever sacred structures the locals used.. the dominance of european culture (itself in turn dominated by whichever version of the Word it followed) in the New World and such places as Africa etc. It was all in the timing, much the same as a particular plant or fungus may take the opportunity to flourish given the right conditions and the best methods of dispersal/preservatio * +
