Buddhism: fat spoilt rich kid feels guilty about a life of opulence and sits under a tree bringing about a spiritual awakening, he decides to give up all wordly possessions and instead focus on an inner path of enlightenment. Centuries later this is picked up by japanese and becomes Zen, a thing that involves questions that make no sense and randomly bashing your students around the head for no reason at all. Ok i admit i only half watched it.. * +

Although this one wasn't big at the box office it did make a comeback with guilt ridden westerners, hippies and alternative types who had nothing worthwhile of their own to believe in. Looking forward to a sequel.. * +
