Me? Personally I take it literal. If it goes against tradition then traditions are wrong.

how much? Would you say 100 percent literal? * +

lol depends on which book your talking about. Genesis, literal historical, exodus literal historical.... Course I'm not going to sit and define every book for everybody. That's for each to garner hers or his own understanding through reading and their walk as given to discernment by the Holy Spirit. For me to do otherwise could affect their walk and spiritual growth. * +

There is no historical evidence for genesis or exodus, and plenty against. How do you believe something that has no evidence whatsoever for it? * +

What do you deem as historical evidence? * +

i mean basicaly all the wize dudes at the time took down 2000 years of learning and stuck in a book as a guide to aid the people the best way they could .. but the point must come when we can stick the next 2000 years of learning of our own in there too . beacuse i got news for you people we have moved on and learnt a lot , were clever people we can fly bathe and talk to a million people ll at once now....excuse the pun but the times they have a changed * +

I think the bible was originaly like a basic guide book. And its msg has been twisted over time bcuz mankind always has a desire 2 know more...but then theres those that cant find more so they invent their own cr*p meanings 2 give them an excuse 2 condemn others. *
