Doesn't it seem often like a God-forsaken world? With the posts about depraved acts of humans in the past, on the news daily and everywhere. Add to that suffering from nature beyond our control. Incredibly depressing. Pain beyond imagining, everywhere, daily. Chaos, havoc, senselessness. And its escalating. * +

I thought I had an idea what a painful death can be like, till yesterday news I saw the totally charred bodies of a 5 and 6 year Old, burnt to death, every scream unaided, till they caught fire and screamed and burned and screamed, till they were ashes. Not even freewill should explain some things which happen. At times not being born into this world seems immensely better than any perceivable benefits. * +

For millennia the day of redemption, of no suffering, of utopia, has been proclaimed from the hilltops... Yet deferred and delayed always... And we wait... Idk what my point is anyway. The world is descending, winding up in a vortex of pain, death and suffering. Seems like we're deserted by God. * +

Let me add, you cant blame anyone else but us humans. We were given a brain to think for ourselves, meaning to choose if we want to look after this world that was created for us or do we want to damage it. Most chose to damage it. * +

I agree we must assume some responsibility on this planet @occultis. But really, how much control can we have? How much suffering is from things we can't possibly prevent? And the problem with freewill is that, you've got to admit it, not everyone is kind or cares. * +

Might sound odd, but i think there are 2 subspecies of people. The good people and the bad people. It is not a thing we can control, we don't know it by skin color, eye shape, it's a non visible quality. It's a good thing we there is a diversity of good and bad people. The good's victory is often quiet, while the bad's victory is loud. * +

It's upsetting that sometimes the good people are seen as the naiive and the bad people are seen as the smarties. Sometimes it takes a deeper understanding to be a good person. And it's sad when bad people try to corrupt the good. * +

Well i do not follow the right hand path, but respect and peace is in my beliefs.. I do not agree in some teachings of christianity , but we cant blame an other deity for our own wrong doings. * +
