Reading through hosea now in the kjv and israel seems to be referred to as ephrahim,why is this? * +

Ephraim, you mean? He was a man, of the twelve tribes. Hosea's focus was in northern Israel, where the tribe of Ephraim was predominant. I'm only answering because you made me. * +
